  and is considered as a spiritual-cultural campus in New Delhi, India. It has an important place in Delhi tourism and is located at NH24, Noida Mor, Delhi. The Complex of Swaminarayan Akshardham displays millennia of traditional architecture and spirituality of Indian and Hindu Culture. This beautiful structure was built under the support and funded by Bochasanvasi Aksharpurushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). The beautiful temple, which attracts all the visitors to Delhi, was official inaugurated by Pramukhswami Maharaj (who is a leader of BAPS) on 7th November, 2005 and situated near the banks of river, Yamuna. It lies over an area of around 100 acres with beautiful gardens, water fountains and carved pavilions. The word Akshardham means the dwelling of God and believed by followers as a temporal home of God on earth as per the Swaminaryan Hinduism.

The main attraction of the Swaminaryan Akshardham depicts great Indian culture and its architecture is simply immaculate. This wonderful structure comprises of floral motifs, 20,000 statues, and exquisite ornately carved pillars made of stones. The beautiful complex features an Abhisheka Mandap, Sahaj Anand water show, a thematic garden and distinguished three exhibitions namely Sahajanand Darshan (Hall of Values), Neelkanth Darshan (an IMAX film on the early life of Swaminarayan as the teenage yogi, Neelkanth), and 12 minute fascinating Sanskruti Darshan (cultural boat ride) which can give the visitors an unforgettable experience of10,000 years of India’s glorious heritage .

The gorgeous architecture of Swaminaryan cThe main memorial at the temple is about 141 foot (43 m) high, span 316-foot (96 m) wide and extends 365-foot (109m) with a beautiful statue of Lord Swaminarayan. There are diverse structure within the temple which witnesses the history and culture of Hindu Religion.

Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple is a Soul Zone, If you want to visit the whole temple then you should take your time off for the complete day as it takes at least five hours to explore each and every structure of the temple. Swaminarayan Akshardham reflects the soul and magnitude of India’s ancient architecture, ethnicity and timeless spirituality. An additional feature of this beautiful temple is combination of a sunken gardinene which is having a shape of lotus when it is viewed from above, it has large stones with imprinted quotes and a Vedic yagna kund with a colorful musical fountain that echoes Vedic sentiments and prayers.

The Swaminaryana Akshardham has The Akshardham Centre within the complex which applies Research in Social Harmony. Many students and scholars may conduct practical research through this centre.

The Swaminarayan Akshardham has a beautiful food court called as the Premvati Food Court is a pure vegetarian restaurant, (which caters a variety of traditional dishes) architected on the Ajanta and Ellora caves of Maharashtra, India and an Ayurvedic bazaar. One must visit this beautiful and magnificent temple for a great experience.
