Kushinagar– also called Kusinara is a district in Uttar Pradesh located at 52 KM east from Gorakhpur city. Gautama Buddha is believed to have preached his last sermon at Kushinagar and took his last breath here at the age of 80. A famous place to visit here is Ramabhar stupa, Mahaparinirvana temple, etc.
