He lost his son in a plague epidemic, then Dagdusheth and his wife sank into depression. To overcome this grief, he built an attractive Ganesh temple as per the advice of his Guru Madhavnath Maharaj.

This temple is gorgeously constructed and is having a rich history of over 100 years. Vijay and Jay, the two sentinels which are made up of marble, are enough to attract everyone. The construction of this temple is very simple. This sacred temple is having an attractive Ganesh idol which can be seen even from outside. This idol is 4 feet wide and 7.5 feet tall and is ornamented with nearly 8 kilos of gold. The devotees of Lord Ganesha offer him money and gold. In fact with every offering to the Lord gets richer and richer. Moreover, another feature of this temple is, offering plenty of coconuts to the deity. The worth attending thing of this temple is daily abhisheka, pooja and the aarti of Lord Ganesh.
